Amazing that the original Honeymooners was only on for one season.

Just imagine how much the world has changed? If a guy made a fist in a sit-com now and threatened "you're going to the moon Alice". All kinds of authorities would be brought in. In actuality on the Honeymooners Ralph was so scared of her that's what made it funny. These days no one would see the humor in that. Her death is really sad. The death of comedy is just as sad. What a great show.

I was watching the original Honeymooners' "twas the night before Christmas" on YouTube just the night before last.

Pretty good stuff.

I still think that the “Glow in the dark wallpaper” was a good idea.

Anyone have a video of “Chef of the future”?

Can't find any videos of The Honeymooners with Sheila MacCrae, but I seem to remember that the sketches were presented as musicals.

It is bizarre, but I've seen the same thing happen before. Sheila MacRae died almost 4 years ago, March 6, 2014.

Somehow an older story makes the rounds as a current event.

That's a strange one. The original link I posted from the WABC website is a direct copy of a CBS story from 2014 .
