Something else.

Technically I use a Windows phone, but actually, I mostly use e-mail.

I have an ancient pay-as-you-go plan that I fund with $10 airtime and am disappointed if it lasts less than seven months.

LG Tribute. 49 bucks at Walmart with my Virgin plan which cost $40 a month. My second LG, and well pleased with both of them.

Kyocera DuraXE, a heavy duty clam shell. Text Messaging and Voice Mail are blocked. All I can do is make and receive phone calls. Costs me $30 month. I have owned only 3 phones since 1998, all clam shells.

LG flip phone, I also have owned only 3 phones only replacing them when they no longer work. One got smashed when I had to dive out of the way of an out of control car when I was standing next to a tow truck, the other a Razr started getting buttons that didn't work and taking it apart and cleaning it didn't help.

Wanted to add my wife has a new Samsung Galaxy, that cost 99.00 and her Trac phone plan costs a whopping $7 a month, plus she occasionally buys an extra text card for $5 that gives her an added 1000 texts. She also has data, but rarely uses that, so she's never gone over her limit. Being cheap, I've considered changing to the same phone and plan.

i just went to an Android by LG. the phone cost me $160 or $7.50 per month. i am using Xfinity service. they are on the Verizon Network and have all the Xfinity hotspots. i pay $12 per month per gig. after 3 months i have never been over the $12 per month. if i happen to the most it would cost would be $45 per month. i am very happy with the service and actually would recommend it.

Since I'm already using Xfinity for cable/internet/land line, I will have to check out that package. My cost for the other Xfin. stuff always seems to be escalating, and no other cheaper or dependable inet providers in our area.

Had a Samsung flip phone bought a 100 dollar 1 year card from T mobile, used it for 7-8 years until I dropped it and it broke in 3 pieces.I still had about 46 dollars credit left on the card .Then,in August, the better half and me got LG smartphones thru Metro PCS, 85 per month and I haven't looked back.I'm beginning to understand why people get hooked on these things.

I run two separate businesses so I have two phones.

I've run the gamut on phones. Windows Phone, iPhone, BlackBerry, Android. I've had them all, and many variations. I'm currently running a BlackBerry and an Android.

For productivity and business, nothing competes (IMO) with the new BlackBerry 10 phones like the Passport. I was livid when they abandoned the platform last year, but I understand. Blackberry is now less than 1 percent of the market, so they bailed out. My BlackBerry Passport probably has 1 more year of use, then that's it. It does run some Android Apps (it runs on the QNX platform) but now that BlackBerry has dropped support, Android Runtime is out dated, so the apps are dropping like flies.

I'll probably go back to iPhone on my other line only because I LOVE music, and nothing does music like iPphone. Apple Music is integrated into the architecture of the phone, and not a separate app. But I have to say that Android is a better platform in my mind. I have a Droid on the other business lines. It's a Samsung Galaxy S7 and it rocks. I do have an iPhone 6s and an iPad2 that I may put back into service once my Blackberry goes toes-up.

I've had BlackBerry, iPhone, and Android over the years. Android is significantly the better phone and platform while iPhone retains a lot of its user-friendliness. It is something of a pick your flavor but my guess is the iPhone to Android user, once used to the OS, is far less likely to go back to iPhone than if they were reversed.

I run a Galaxy S7 Active as the built in waterproof ability and durability are high selling points for me with my outdoor lifestyle and not using a case is awesome. It's durable as hell and there is never that "eek!" moment when you drop it. I have the AT&T 16 gig plan but it's quite common for me to set up a local Wi-Fi when I'm out travelling for work. Pulling credit, building loans, etc.

Samsung G8 Plus.

I use it for porn, texting, and yelling at robocallers.
