I wonder what would happen? If you boxed both a trifecta and superfecta out of each selection posted for each individual race. Let's find out.

This would obviously require a large bankroll and balls of steel. But since you would be betting both a tri and super you would be doubling down on your wins but on the flip side of the coin you could also be doubling down on your losses if you lose. There is also a promotion TVG is running that offers a 15% bonus on all trifecta plays at Parx and Mountaineer from the 6th through the 30th if you opt in.

Definitely not the type of gambling for the faint of heart which is why it is just an experiment today. Unless of course you're feeling like Dirty Harry. :D

You see what I am saying. We didn't hit that first race but look at the insane payout on the tri and super. The reward might well be worth the risk. It is also worth mentioning I had three out of the four runners in the super tipped up. We just missed the key horse unfortunately. But if he was there it would have landed us a $1512.00 trifecta on top of a $11382.80 super!

The final order of finish for race # 2 at Parx was :6::1::1a::8::7: and the :6::1::8: trifecta paid $281.00 at $2.00. That is on top of the :6::1::1a::8::7: super that paid $453 at $2.00.There was also a 15% bonus offered on all trifecta wagers at Parx and Mountaineer if you opted in.

You obviously have to pick and choose which races to jump in on in relation to value offered versus your wager amount.

This race for example offered some significant value as there were only four selections posted to box. It's all about spotting the opportunity for value and pouncing once it's presented.

I think this Parx card experiment is going to be a trial run for the Mountaineer card later tonight. I am going to see how this goes and tweak my later game plan from what I feel I have learned from this.

I am tentatively thinking we drop the superfecta wagers as the 15% bonus is only applicable on trifecta wagers to begin with. This will also drastically bring down to cost of the wagers. As I previously mentioned this is an experiment.

I noticed that when the races had a lot of selectioned posted cleary it was too wide open to make a profitable play. But on the races where there weren't too many selections we actually did really well. Maybe I should just post the selections for races where there is under 5? 6? 7? selections for that particular race. This just needs to be tweaked. As far as an experiment I thought in totality it went pretty well and with some tweaking perhaps can be better.

I considered that but I think if I do that I am going to be more prone to picking the most logical two in the market. The issue with that is the real value comes when the most logical choice / choices does not come home first.
