My heart goes out to King. I know people were saying so much garbage about him and how he handles older horses. Um excuse me the fact that he can get them to race and win at that age tells you what kind of a trainer he truly is.

Condolences goes to King.

Nice day of racing yesterday in his honor.
They had a Ben's Cat bobblehead, and some nice stakes races.

Though 11 years is a rather shortened life span for a thoroughbred horse (25-30 years is average), I doubt Leatherbury mistreated his beloved horse. It just proves how racing is very hard on the animals, and for that, they all deserve a lot of respect.
