One guy I like is Craig Donnelly at Parx, the only track he covers. He's the son of longtime NY Daily News handicapper Russ Harris (Harris advised his son to use his mother's maiden name to avoid comparisons). He'll give a quick one sentence description of why he likes the horse, as he selects 4 runners.(And it's not "Trainer has a 2.28 ROI in the fourth start off the second claim on Wednesdays with full moons":))Like most handicappers who have to choose every race,he doesn't venture too far from the ML favorites but if you look at the horses he likes in the third or fourth slot, you can find value.
