Here are my selections for Saturday's Card at DEL MAR. Top selection, comments and pick 3 runners listed. Picks made before scratches.

Race -1 The :1: Reunites with Ortiz after the confidence builder last out at Laurel. Repeat of last takes this. PICK 3 RUNNERS (1-7-11-10).

Race -2 The :6:. Looks like a standout here. May be my best bet of the pre-breeders cup races. 7-2 on the ML feels right. PICK 3 RUNNERS (6-1)

Race -3 The :1:. Wesley Ward with a sprinter off a freshening. I've heard this song before. PICK 3 RUNNERS (1-5-10-3)

Race -4 The :13: Winner of the Frizette last out for Brown. I think that race was the best of the preps for this. High last out Bris figure for Brown. Should sit a good trip from just off the pace. PICK 3 RUNNERS (13-12-3-9)

Race -5 The :3: Looks like a rematch of the Coolmoore Nunthorpe with both Marsha and The Lady entered here. Could be the 2nd winner on the day for Ward here as I think Lady turns the tables today. PICK 3 RUNNERS (3-6-1)

Race -6 The ::9: 2nd off the layoff for Calhoun an 18% trainer angle. Has the speed to lay close and we're getting a juicy 6-1 on the ML here. PICK 3 RUNNERS (9-11-1-3)

Race -7 The :14: Won a solid prep race overseas last out in the G1 at Chantilly. Trainer O-Brien 33% in the 3rd try off the layoff and 11% with 1st time Lasix. Another solid ML price at 8-1 here. PICK 3 RUNNERS (14-9-1-8)

Race -8 The :7: Shug ships this one in at 26% off the van. Owns the highest Bris figure at this distance of the group. Could be a good day for Ortiz. I'll take all of 5-1 on the ML here. PICK 3 RUNNERS (7-3-2-10)

Race -9 The :8: Winner of the Grade 1 at Keeneland last out off the ship over. Jock comes over for the ride. Going great guns at the moment. 6-1 on what I believe is the best of the Euro's here. PICK 3 RUNNERS (8-10-12)

Race -10 The :11: Bolt d'Oro..3 for 3....fastest of the group...enough said..looks pretty tough to beat here...I'll throw in 2 more just for the pick 3's. PICK 3 RUNNERS (11-1-2)

Race -11 The :3: ran 3rd in a nice prep for this at Ascot last out. O'Brien and Tabor team up with what looks like a solid runner here. PICK 3 RUNNERS (3-13-12-5)

Race -12 The :8: One of the Bafferts in here at a good price 6-1 on the ML. Working in typical Baffert fashion for this and picks up Castellano for the ride with Smith leaving for Arrogate. Price makes this one the play in here. PICK 3 RUNNERS (8-5-1-9)

Well this was a Breeders Cup Saturday to forget....:bang:..Only top pick winner I had was in Race -2. Had some top picks hit the board..couple pick 3 horses hit a big prices..but alas hit none of those...My apologies for anyone who played along..I expected better...:bang:
