View Full Version : Report: First Charges Filed In Mueller’s Russia Probe

MONEY

"A federal grand jury in Washington, D.C., reportedly has approved the first charges in the investigation led by special counsel Robert Mueller into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, CNN said Friday evening."

Reporters on MSNBC, on the show before Maddow were absolutely giddy.

So what are the odds of a single Trump voter on a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C., where Democrats outnumber Republicans 50-1.

Btw Trump can't pardon state crimes. That's why Mueller has teamed with the NY AG during the probe of Manafort and others.

I assume that federal grand juries only issue warrants for federal crimes. I would suggest that what Muellar is doing with the NY AG could be argued as a form of collusion to suppress a person's constitutional rights against the unlimited power of the govt.

Why would he pardon Manafort when Manafort is being looked at for his dealing with the dems?

If I had to guess a name or two, I would guess Tony Podesta, and then, Paul Manafort.

The Democrats will still be protected thanks to their unofficial PR firm, the main stream media, while if it is Manafort named, then the let's impeach Trump season begins!

Of course, of course, no one in their right mind expects Mueller to go after the true villains in this crime: Hillary!, Comey, Obama, Lynch, Rice, Holder, and a few other enemies of society.

Wall Street Journal has done the same. Mueller was on the inside, and as such, needs to recuse himself. About the only one NOT connected with the whole affair is Jeff Sessions, and he recused himself. Can't make this stuff up.

More ineptitude by our government. There was question about Mueller leading this investigation from the start, so why didn't they hire some one? Who named him as prosecutor?

Also, there's been little talk about Mueller leaking on Fri that an indictment is coming Monday? That's someone playing politics.

Speculation swirled Sunday awaiting the announcement of possible charges in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between Russia and members of the Trump presidential campaign, as his tactics have been called into question.

The charges being filed by a grand jury was reported first by CNN and the Wall Street Journal, which said anyone charged will be taken into custody Monday. However, the charges have been sealed by a federal judge. So whoever is charged and whether the charges are criminal remains unclear.

The possible charges come as Mueller's tactics have been called into question.

Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy, the leader of the House’s top investigative committee, slammed special counsel Robert Mueller on Sunday for allowing the news media to learn that he and his legal team now have charges in their Russia investigation.

“In the only conversation I’ve had with Robert Mueller, I stressed to him the importance of cutting out the leaks,” Gowdy, chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, told “Fox News Sunday.” “It’s kind of ironic that the people charged with investigating the law and the violations of the law would violate the law.”

Make no mistake, disclosing grand jury material is a violation of the law. Somebody violated their oath of secrecy,” Gowdy, a South Carolina lawmaker and former federal prosecutor, also told Fox News on Sunday.

By announcing the charges, but sealing them, it helps create some dissension in the ranks, so to speak.

Some of them might actually rethink their choice to partner with foreign intelligence operatives.

In June 2016 Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort met with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.
As the Clinton campaign and DNC paid for the now famous "Dossier," I'm starting to think that they also hired Veselnitskaya to entrap Trump Jr, Kushner, and Manafort.
The Clintons are rotten to the core.

Perkins Coie who then funneled the money to GPS Fusion, the firm behind the fake Steele dossier from April 2016. This dossier was then used by the FBI to
illegally spy on Trump campaign staff and open Mueller's investigation.
