That's what the Dems have been saying, but now the Dems are stooping to calling Kelly racist among other things.

The whole issue is a joke. They took the original statement out of context where Trump said soldiers go there knowing the risk. Then when that gets corrected they go for the ever popular claim of racism.
Just another of many examples where democrats/liberals will stoop to any level to get a leg up. More intelligent people however are getting more and more wise to it. Its become so obvious of late.

They are targets for the left.
Always have been.

Even those who came back from Viet Nam were targets of the loser left.

The only ones who get a pass from "what is left" are those who have been assimilated.

It isn't whether soldiers go into a combat zone knowing the risk or not. Of course they do. It's all about whether Trump should have said that to his grieving parents.

Instead of saying "He knew what he was signing up for," he should have said. "Your son was a brave man, dedicated to his country. I'm sure he understood the dangers he might be facing. Yet, in spite of that, he put himself in harms way to help others and serve his country.

The statement Trump made diminishes the soldier and his sacrifice. It makes it seem that oh well it was just one of those things.

The statement he did not make specifically acknowledges the bravery of the fallen warrior. It shows that this was a choice he made while cognizant of the dangers and praises him for looking out for someone besides himself.

Something Trump never does.

Actual statement : They know the risk, they know what they sign up for, yet they still volunteer to put their lives on the line for their fellow Americans. We owe them a debt that can never be repaid.

Your liberal cronies choose to omit all but the very first line. Even you mosty should realize the problem here. Are you really that closed minded?

BTW, it is NONE of her racist business.
The birth has an agenda and is using this tragedy as an opportunity. But then, democrats are not American, so I guess it to be expected.

RUSSIANS are more American than democrats.

democrats should rename their party the Ipecac Party.

Watch your mouth, mister. Hopalong Cassidy wore a cowboy hat.

Rep. Wilson’s account was confirmed by La David Johnson’s aunt who raised him from the time he was five; and who was in the car when the call took place.

I believe there's a recording of it. If indeed one exist, is it fake also?
You people never admit being wrong about anything, regardless how the issue plays out. Complete denial right to the core. Would be comical if it weren't so pathetic.

Even if he bungled his words, we all know his intentions were good, and that's all that matters.

Let's assume the worst, that he bungled his words. What would you all guess has been more painful for her? The bungled words, or the non-stop chatter and politicization of her husband's death?

She has never done anything of real substance that she could hang all her cowboy hats on.....so I understand her desperate attempt to get in the headlines with asinine accusations......did you see when she said " I AM A ROCK STAR " what an idiotic statement to make....ATTACK & OBSTRUCT the current playbook for the losers........

I've looked and can't find anywhere reputable giving those quotes.

This widow is slated for GMA tomorrow morning, so I'm guessing she's not doing this to side with Trump.

In my opinion, some of the Trump hater will hang on to their hate no matter what. The black congress woman and the widow set this thing up to make President Trump look insensitive to a soldier's death. Time will tell if this two black women succeeded. The congresswoman (who in my opinion looks like a transgender, my bias. And I have brown skin in case critics want to call me a white supremist. Lol.) is definitely a fraud. Apparently bashing Trump brings free free publicity, campaign fund raising or whatever. As soon as she played the race card, I knew she is a fraud. This is a typical black woman's strategy to back off white folks. Hating Trump gets them free media coverage.

I just hope people who wants to see the man's real motive for calling can see why this is politicized so. What is wrong to say what he said. One can take anything out of context to sensationalize. Go Trump!

This all started with the Khan's speech at the DNC convention last year. Now, you take Dem Rep. Wilson interjecting with a bashing of the POTUS, add the widow's comments about not saying his name, didn't like Trump's tone, acting nonchalant about the phone call itself, etc. and you have the makings of a tactical use of what Gold Star families can say and get away with IN THE POLITICAL ARENA.......Yeah, we're all big buffoons and we should know better than to reply to their comments, no matter the nonsense that sputters from their mouths....

She sounds more like a calculating hack than anything else. Invites a wackjob Congresswoman to be with her on the call (silently). Continues to lie over what was fully said to her. Now joins the news show parade spewing more hate. A president calls and offers his condolences, and all you can give in return is lies and hate? Even if what he said really did hurt you (I don't believe it did), at least acknowledge that you got a call and move on. This whole thing looks and smells agenda driven.

She's doing a fine job of keeping the memory of her slain husband alive. He must be rolling over in his grave at the self serving travesty that was his wife.

Yep, those are two reliable sources. Now the widow of La David Johnson has gone on Good Morning America and stated that Congresswoman Wilson's characterization of the phone call is one hundred percent correct.

So, whom do we believe? Wilson, Johnson's aunt-who raised him; his widow, or the Liar-in-Chief.

How pathetic you are. This woman has two-soon to be three-young children for whom she wants the best life possible. A college education by the time they are ready for it, could cost more than $500,000 for the three of them.

Correct me if I am wrong but I believe contributions to Go Fund Me are voluntary. People contribute because they believe their is a genuine need. A scam might pick up a few contributions, but not $700,000 worth in six days.

People are contributing because they appreciate the sacrifice La David Johnson made in Niger, and because they are appalled at the treatment his widow and family are receiving at the hands of the despicable Mr. Trump.

If President Trump sent his VP to the funerals of our fallen hero's instead of the hands on approach the PR would improve and there would be less waiting traps that are publicized.

I think she should get as much as she possibly can...we should all donate, in fact. Someone who give their life for this country...the debt we owe them and their family is immeasurable....

With that said, I think it's disgusting what the Congresswoman has done in this instance. Do you honestly think Trump, in his heart, went on that phone call looking to cause this woman pain? I'd love to hear what was ACTUALLY SAID, not how it was spun. There is a lot of conflicting information, and we all know Democrats these days will say and do ANYTHING to try and take down Trump yet another notch. It's pathetic. And the fact that you throw your support behind this 100% against the President is pathetic as well...
