Here are some of the rules and regulations Trump has rescinded.
Revoked a rule that expanded the number of people who could earn overtime pay.

Under the previous rule people earning over about $24,000 could be classified as management and forced to work overtime without overtime pay. Obama double that and Trump rescinded. Another example of Trumps disdain for the working class.

Reversal of a rule that would mandate that oil and gas companies report payments to foreign governments.

Because companies should be allowed to pay bribes to foreign officials without all that bothersome scrutiny.

Stopped a rule that would require large companies to report worker incomes by race and gender.

If we don't do this it is much easier for a company to hide discriminatory wages now.

Revoked an executive order that mandated compliance by contractors with laws protecting women in the workplace.

Now that this order has been revoked, Contractors can feel free to abuse women and even "Grab their -------"

Cancelled a rule mandating that financial advisers act in the best interests of their clients.

If they are not acting in the best interests of their clients, who's best interest are they acting in. Now an adviser can encourage his client to invest in a bad stock and then create derivitives that will pay off when the stock fails.

Killed a rule mandating that government contractors disclose violations of labor law.

Why does it not make sense that the government know that the companies it contracts with have been complying with the law?

Rescinded an Obama effort to reduce mandatory sentences.

Good! Now we can sentence people to thirty years in prison for possession of Canabis.

Cancelled a phase out of the use of private prisons.

This goes hand in hand with imposing maximum prisons and three strikes laws. Can't make the money if you don't have the prisoners.

Reversed the ban on civil forfeiture.

Once again the government can seize a persons property without accusing that person of a crime. I guess the due process clause is no longer in the Constitution.

Blocked the Clean Power Plan.

A sellout to the Coal industry.

Ended a study on the health effects of mountaintop removal mining.

Another sellout to the coal industry putting corporate profit above the health of our citizens.

There are many more but I shall stop here.
The list above can be found primarily in an article titled "What Trump Has Undone" Published in the October first online edition of the Washington Post.
Philip Bump was the author.

As just one example, we already have laws to protect women in the workplace. It's called the Constitution. Why do we need an EO asking for paperwork too? In fact, many of your boo-hoo issues are simply Big Brother asking for more paperwork so that more federal workers can be hired to watch over big, bad corporations. Some of your comments indicate you know little of business methods.

Check on Errors and Omissions insurance, not to mention Securities Exchange regulations and laws on the books for crimes like what you described. It goes without saying that the fiduciary responsibility of the adviser is etched in stone whether the govt mandates it or not. Fact is, there are severe penalties (civil and criminal) on the books regardless of this mandate.

Are you really that naïve? You need record keeping to ensure that corporations are acting in accord with what is in the Constitution. There is not one single thing in the Constitution that can be enforced except that there is a law on the books regarding it.

The Constitution is like the skeleton of a building. The laws are the floors, ceilings and walls. When you build an apartment building you don't just put up the beams and supports and open it up for renters. You finish the apartments.

We have had the Constitution since 1789. Are you really telling me that women have had protections in the workplace since then? Of course they haven't. We pass laws to enforce the Constitution.

So what specifically was being enforced in the Constitution with respect to women's rights in the workplace?

Your comment makes no sense. It was Tucker6 who said women's rights were covered in the Constitution. I said they weren't. Therefore we need laws in that area.

More EO's slashed today -

We don't have to wash our hands after using the bathrooms anymore.

We can now step on cracks not break our Mothers' backs.

What goes around no longer has to come around.

Cleanliness is no longer next to Godliness (see #1 for further details).

Watched pots are now free to boil.
