Picks for Del Mar Friday:
R3 #12 Tapio-Had no chance to close on runaway winner last time. Was an easy 2nd, faces a weak bunch here. Longer run to turn may negate the bad post. Working well in the am for this.
R4 #1 Dewey’s Trick-Ran very well in 2 sprints before his last one going long. Gets decent turf jock Smith today. Should get a decent trip here.
R6 #3 Moyanna-Drops back down to winning level/distance. Looking for a better effort today.
R7 #6 Good Student-Had a bit of trouble in first start for McAnally. Wouldn’t be surprised to see her lead here. Some eyecatching drills since last.
