Very good card tonight. I am doing this pre scratches, so keep that in mind. If you miss the first 3 races your aren't missing much from a betting standpoint.

In races that I have lined I will give my top contenders with their fair odds line.


Race 1) No real opinion. I will likely buy it in the pick 5.

Race 2) No much enthusiasm for this race. The 2 chalk look best but trotters can break and Long Tom does not appear very sharp right now. So will key International Moni and buy race in pick 5.


Race 3)Ariana G is a free square on the pick 5. Nothing excites me for 2nd.

Race 4) Didn't line this race. Pick the race 3-9-6-1. Rockin in Heaven looks far the best in here off a huge class drop. was last at the half into 54.1 last 1/2 so had no chance there. 2 prior should beat these. Ideal Jet has been overmatched last number of starts. Been racing fairly decently of late. This is his class level and he is best on lead, so if he can get to the top, and not end up sitting in the 2 hole behind Rockin in Heaven, who very well may 1/4 move he probably will have a better chance. Still racing well enough to complete exacta. PL Jackson finished on the line with Ideal Jet in last. Similar chance of completing exacta on the class drop. Dovuto Hanover should sit a decent trip from the rail and looks next most likely.

Race 5) Once again did not line race. Art Scene looks like a single to me. Looks much the best off my numbers. Classic Pro was awful in last and I will let him beat me(wasn't even racing well prior). Ocean Colony is the X factor. Month off scratched sick 8/18, 1st time Lasix for Takter. Have to peek at the tote board for more insight. Going to give 3rd billing to Rebellious who improved a lot 2 back, and backed it up with a similar good performance in last. If he can be in the race this week, rather than 9th by 9 into a 27.3 last 1/4 he certainly looks like a big contender for the Exacta/tri.

Beast Mode is the best horse right now, not sure how he is going to get into the race. Champagne Phil has had traffic issues last 2 starts and he does have early speed if he elects to leave. PL Idaho, Waples stupidly pulled pocket in laast costing himself a chance at a better placing Still not what he was about 5 weeks ago. Drops seeking his current level. Hes a Sensation couldn't these horses 3 or 4 weeks back but he is sharper than ever right now. Obviously not crazy about 5% driver, but he raced super in last Asap Hanover rail road and ran well against better in last(prior had 3 straight wins against cheaper).

Declan Seelster rail road but really closed well in debut 2 back, and last time was basically extened to a 54.4 1st half parked the 1/4. By the time he had cleared in lane Shadow Moon had Passed him and he wasn't able to overcome. Post position edge tilts the deck in his favor tonight.
