I heard this story on a local sports talk show and couldn't stop laughing. Then I thought:
Nobody could be that cool. Nobody could be that clever. The radio talk show guy must have made it up. So I had to verify that it was true. It was.
Mr Riegel, I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you while you were among us. I have been trying to come up with my final words for the longest time, and nothing seems to work. But now I can stop trying because nothing I can come up with will ever top yours.

A longtime Eagles season ticket holder who died last week at age 56 left behind one final wish in his cleverly-written obit.
"He requested to have 8 Philadelphia Eagles as pall bearers so the Eagles can let him down one last time."
