Picks for Del Mar Monday:
R5 #2 Orange Em-Anticipating a hot pace in this race. This closer drops out of a pretty competitive heat into a race with a lot of suspect runners. Goes second time out for decent trainer. Has won on this oval before.
R6 #2 Blazing Bartok-Lands in good spot in first try against winners. I think she can compete with these, and it's very possible that she can clear this field early. Has a couple of nice drills since her last race.
