Ray,

I know you mentioned that you don't like to play horses in the top 3 morning lines spots.I am more a guy that waits to see just what the board reads at post. Do you have any stats about why not to play the top 3 M/L or is it just something you do to hope for a bigger price and avoid chalk plays? Thanks

The attachment graph needs a little explaining.
What I did was sort all the robot's picks on Morning Line Rank then start betting them in order with $2 bets.
The steep loss finally reverses when the betting reaches the Morning Line Rank of 4

The same pattern holds for individual tracks but it does depend on how good the Morning Line guy does his job.

This means I'm sometimes betting a 10/1 longshot that goes off the favorite (I send in my bets in the morning), but it's still better that way than to use the odds or odds rank at 0 minutes to post. They change way to much when the race goes off.

Thanks Ray. I will go back and chart my plays based on M/L rank and see if this helps the bottom line.
