A friend of mine swears by this system for off tracks and playing the favorite.
Rules:
1) For non-maiden races only on muddy or sloppy tracks
2) Play the favorite if it meets the rest of the following rules
3) The favorite's lifetime off track Beyer is higher than its lifetime fast dirt Beyer and higher than its lifetime turf Beyer. The horse must show at least one lifetime dirt fast track Beyer.
4) The last time the favorite ran within a half furlong of today's distance within its last 10 races on a muddy or sloppy track, it must have been first at the first call positon. The horse must show at least one muddy or sloppy track race within one half furlong of today's distance within its last ten races.
That's it.
