A handful of tracks are running tomorrow afternoon. I think that could be a pretty memorable strange experience, to witness it with a small crowd of horsemen and horseplayers. By my reckoning, Thistle and Delaware will get about an 80% exposure; is that enough to get animals a little unnerved? If I was a trainer, I might have taken a pass on Monday entries.
Saratoga will see less of it, but still enough to cast an eerie vibe, I would think. Could be a good day for the photography-minded members of our subculture.
Maybe some jockey will hide in the dark in the stretch and come out just in time to win a race.

Ah! The old Carmouche Eclipse
Sounds like a heist movie. While the whole track is standing on the apron staring up in the air with funny glasses on, Morgan Freeman and Bruce Willis rob the money room. John Malkovich is outside the main gate driving getaway and using a radio to count down the darkness for em
