Just look at the pp's and really ask yourself if the sport cares about the welfare of its animals and putting on an honest show.
8. Great Lou - Trained by the Navarro has found magical new life after being claimed. Running new best beyers as a 5 yr old. Last time this year - he was running beyers in the low 70's at the 50001y condition. Now he's running in the low 90's on optional claimers.
9. Transparent - Great back class on this horse. Was with Repole and on the vet's list in NY. Shows up at Parx for 50001y. Runs terrible - looks horrible. Amazingly gets claimed. Connections have turned his form around and he's now running in the high 80s. His physical ailments don't seem to prevent him from getting back to his old form.
This "sport" has become a joke.
