I am heading down to Atlantic city tonight and wanted to play the horses while the woman wanders off to the slots. I have only been to the Tropicana sports book, which I think is awful..

Anyone know which is the best one down there?

I've never been there, but "Billy's At Bally's" I am told is the best racebook there by far.....this comes from a co-worker of mine who is an avid AC participant....

Well, I ended up going to the Trump Marina.. What a piece of crap that hole is.. The simulcast facility (if you want to call it that) was comprised of about 7 tv's on the wall, 4 or 5 tables and about 3 or 4 chairs in the back... The whole thing was about as big as my living room..

I had limited experience when I was stationed in NJ a few years back...you couldn't even get a Racing Form and the whole set up was pathetic at Taj Mahal...I never went back.

Wish I could remember the name - Bally's? - it had a western motif. But I liked it of about 4 or 5 I was at - on 9/11/01! Naturally, no betting that day, but the next was OK.

No, it was a major name. I'll ask my wife.

The guy I work with who recommended the Bally's AC Race Book said it's upstairs....it's either in a place called "Billy's At Bally's", or it's right next to it....

Yeah, the wife says it's Bally's - so it must be.

in a/c only 2 race books, bally's and caesars. the latter has most serious players.
