Well, the pride of Holly Hill, SC, Brett Gardner, provided a walk-off win for "The Pinstripes". Yet, the BoSox kept pace when Sandy Leon alluded Drew Butera's tag to eke out an extra-inning victory over the Royals. Yet, the Yankees do have several games at-hand. As Artie Johnson used to say on Rowan & Martin's "Laugh-In," it should be "Verrry Interesting!"

Well, as I've preliminarily perused and scrutinized today's Saratoga card - as the Count on Sesame Street would say - the number of the day is: acht, huit, ocho, otto, ocht. Yes, it's the number eight (8).
