The Red Sox bullpen with Joe Kelly were lights out. Kelly tweaked a hamstring but will be back. Even without Kelly, Matt Barnes, Rodney Scott. Fernando Abad, and Craig Kimbrel have been pretty much lights out.

A third baseman hitting in the low 200's is hardly threatening. The Yankees bullpen is at best comparable to the Red Sox. The Yankees cant match the Red Sox starting rotation and the Red Sox cant match the Yankees power. The Red Sox pitching staff pretty much shut down their power game this weekend and delivered the Yankees their first shutout of the year. Good pitching will always defeat good hitting.

The Yankess are scaring nobody. The Red Sox bluffed the Yankees into making this trade.

As a Red Sox fan, I am more concerned about getting more guldens mustard on my Fenway frank than I am on my hand.

There's something about the Red Sox that just doesn't feel right this year. Loaded with talent, but there has been too much underperformance. They've had the off the field incident with Price and Eckersley. I think they miss Ortiz' bat more than we realized. Surprised at the relative lack of power. Talent wise, they should be good enough to win, or contest the pennant. But the vibe this year just doesn't feel positive.

Love seeing ownership shell out all those bucks and come up flat. A lot of the Astro's success is heart and a will to achieve. Money can't buy that in any sport.

23 Teams have payrolls over 100 Mil this year. Astros are 18th with a 124 mil player payroll. A lot of fat wallets.

I guess Bregman (sp?) is the exception?? The guy tweeted stupid shit at the drop of a hat. Why would a bottom of the lineup guy be trash talking?

I've always liked the Stros, but they have to prove it first. Come playoffs I'll be pulling for them, but if they went flat it wouldn't surprise me

The Astros had a number of years with very high draft picks and it's paying off. But they could've had Kris Bryant back in the 2013 draft, and opted for Mark Appel.
