Just ran two stakes for older horses on the turf. One was 1 3/16 and the next was 1 1/2.

Why not combine the two and have 1 stake race?

All I can guess is one is a prep for the American St. Leger and the other a prep for the Arlington Million.

Run it at 1 11/32.
