Really tough race to like. Speed is cheap, and nobody is "in form". First run horses getting dibs at crap speed sounds right, but who is that? Moran not having even a decent meet, but is at least very familiar with his ride. Fits, but is a stretch with the :3: Candy Phil. Gonna pass.

The :4: Synthesize has gone off at 4/1 or less odds in 7 of his 8 races and has won once. In that lone victory he paid his "investors" $.45 on the $. He is a flat out money burner.

Problem is, who else you take in this race? :1::5::7: present class issues, the :2: hasn't won a race since Clinton was President, and the :3:'s lone win was at 6 1/2 furlongs and will be going 2 turns for the 1st time in his life.

:6: Lions Bay is at least 5 for 19 at the track, and the surface, and has hit the board in 11 of 19 starts at Woodbine. 2nd start with barn is hitting at 30% lately.

And with all that said, I have to pass. :lol:

Most interested in how :5: Curlins Pride is less than 10/1.

One can easily say the :4: and :5: outclassing this field and call it good. But they are both coming in off of less than stellar efforts in their last race(s).

:2: Involutary has started off her 4YO season decently enough. Distance of 10 panels could be an issue, but massive improvement in her 3rd start as a 4YO can't be dismissed. She should be forwardly placed in here and likely comfortable.
