All day rain I think literally put a damper on potential riots in this city. But what surprised me is there was no involuntary manslaughter option to choose from. It set up as all or nothing. With the officer being dragged by the car that charge would have stuck.

Been pulled over more than my fair share, rarely got tickets but as a youth I drove hot rods and as an older adult making numerous cross country trips got profiled for out of state plates driving an SUV through a drug corridor.

Oddly enough I have never been shot, beaten or even told to get out of my car by police. On the other hand I don't transport or do drugs, and also when the sky lights up I immediately pull over and put my hands on the steering wheel until told to do otherwise.

I don't know much about this one but the one in Minnesota was pretty terrible... media racial circus aside.

It's a form of jury nullification.

And then they wonder WHY.

Juries have decided that there is a threshold that you cannot cross and they are being consistent.
