Picks for Del Mar Wednesday:
R4 #11 A Girl Named Phil-Makes the big drop into mcl. Catches a weak field where most runners in here have already lost at the bottom level. She also comes out of a race that has produced a few next out winners. No win jock ensures a good price.
R5 #4 It’s a Perfect Day-In Excess runners generally like the green stuff. Gets a decent early speed jock today, while the main competition for the frontrunning honors, Robert E., gets a negative jock switch. I think that this runner can stalk if the other one guns.
R6 #6 Nichole’s Delight-The lead is there for the taking, and this runner should get it. Only try at this distance she had trouble and still ran well. No name trainer has done an ok job with her and she’s got a nice drill since her last race. Price should be decent.
Monday: 2-2
Total this meet: 9-33 27%
ROI: 1.28
