Unfortunate.

Here was a horse who we expected to skip the Belmont to rest for races like the Haskell and Travers, then they decided to be sporting and enter the Belmont, then they finalized the breeding deal with Coolmore, and again, common sense would say that they would surely now, under Coolmore's direction, skip the Belmont to run in races like the Haskell and Travers, yet they gave no indication of skipping the Belmont, and now a hoof abcess forces him to scratch...
