Yesterday, on Sunday, I was on the 4th floor for lunch and a day at the track. Our local shrine club sponsored the 6th race and got to make the trophy presentation. I have to say the lunch buffet was the worst lunch I had had on a Sunday in quite sometime. It was far worth the 72.00 I had to pay for my wife and I. The only reason I was there was to support the shriners, which I am proudly a member.
Then today, as I had my morning coffee local news says CDX and the governor would be having a big press conference at 1000. I am thinking they are going to add instant racing machines so that purses can be increased to compete with the losses to other states. But disappointed, the press conference is that Twinspires is relocating from Ca., to here in Louisville, KY. Good news for the job market, but no big boon to racing:bang:
