This thread is for C. Clement or anyone who knows him.
I love the NY bred Lubash.
Back in 2010, he was in the last race at Belmont making his turf debut.
I singled him in the Pick 4 and needed him for a $4,500 payoff.
He went off at 16 or 17-1 and held on grimly to win in a photo.
I have followed him and rooted for him (whether I bet him or not)
ever since.
Here is my note:
STOP RUNNING HIM ON ANYTHING BUT A "FIRM" TURF!!!!!!
The old boy is ten years old and tries hard every time.
He prefers firm and struggles to give his best on anything else.
He has only so many starts left in him and to watch him try
hard on "yielding" turf knowing he does not like it just makes me mad.
Christophe, you have done a wonderful job with him except for this.
Again, "nothing but FIRM turf.
Or if you prefer in French: "Rien mais raffermir gazon"
