All afternoon CNN is harping about why he didn't say Radical Islamic terrorism.

We finally learned how much the other Muslim and Arab countries hate the Iranian government and consider Hezbollah a terrorist organization. For 8 years, Obama lied about how antagonizing Iran was a dangerous step in the fragile Middle East while we now know that is exactly what the Middle East wanted.

Truly amazing. Something the rest of the world has known for decades, if not centuries. Iran is ruled by Shi'ite Muslims. The Saudis and others are Sunni Muslims. They don't play well together. :rolleyes:

I just listened to the speech again. There were subtle choices of words that were significant. The delivery was slow to start but almost flawless in it's delivery. There is nothing more he could have said or offered to the middle east. Every time I think he might waiver or be generic he gives a fully honest account and tells it like it is. This was excellent. We have a thumbs up emoji. I think I am going to need a middle finger one for the criticism coming my way! LOL! Have at it. This speech makes me proud to be an American.

I never had any doubt and his intentions were the only thing transparent about him. He might have a birth certificate but he was never an American and he was a terror enabler. He gave unmarked pallets of cash to the world's #1 sponsor of terror, that is #1 until he made them #2 and took the throne for himself.
I thought Trumps comments were appropriate while OBama were totally self-serving and out of place.
The best part of this presidency is watching Dan struggle to find something of any relevence at all to post bad about him.

I have a new business associate who was born in Kenya. He's in his 50's. We had a discussion about Trump. The first thing he said was that Trump was right about Obama being born in Kenya. He also said that it's a running joke in "Obama's tribe" that he fooled the world.
He also said that Obama's grandmother would threaten people by invoking his name. He said that most laughed at her, but some took her seriously and she lived very well on his name.
I don't think we will ever know the truth

The right wing press is just as petty with lefties as the left wing press is with Trump and righties...as you can tell by reading the link above.

I see what you are saying, but a rational person would have first explained why he should not have gone there first, and then taken a shot at him for being mindless, with a clearer statement that alphabetical would have made more sense than what Trump did.
As it is, she just comes across as inarticulate if not inane. And that is a justifiable criticism of a political "leader".
