Pro Rated Longshots?

Has anyone used this software by Dan Geer? I know it's been around for a while. The book offer of the system claims to pick 2400 price horses a year.

I toyed around with the paper and pencil method last year and it turned out to be horrible..

It can be summed up in one sentence.

"Play horses with early speed that fade to finish out of the money that go off at 9-1 or higher." or maybe 14-1 or higher.

I too had the paper version. Bad results. Don't know how it keeps getting mention from time to-time

Maybe someone knows Dan Geer and can ask him to come on board to explain why nobody wins with it.

Dan has some good angles that appear in Turf Monthly from time to time. They are based on logic and with a few additional "home grown rules" and a little trial and error, I've come up with a few longshot angles that pop big sometimes.
