Does it matter? Comey will not tell Congress that Trump tried to influence his investigation because he did not tell the DOJ at the time, which is required by law. So if he testifies Trump did, Comey will do jail time...

I can agree with that, I think the President made it clear to the director to shit or get off the pot. Meaning the President wants his agenda to advance, when Flynn lied to Vice President Mike Pence it took two whole days for the President to drop the axe. BFD:pound:

I know it won't be a popular opinion here but if I had to cast a vote, it would be against the guy who led the "Obama is a Nigerian Muslim" meme for 8 years.

Or the "I would have won the popular vote but for millions of illegals voting".

Or the "Obama wiretapped me" (this one is particularly ironic given his warning to Comey).

Or the boatload of other lies that won't matter to anyone because, let's face it, Trump is their guy.

We get it. Trump wins any poll of the occupants of his lower intestines. Everyone in there is invested.

Shocking.

Or the "Obama wiretapped me" (this one is particularly ironic given his warning to Comey).Funny how you still deem this one a lie, given all the evidence that has surfaced since that tweet.

Did Obama go there himself and flip the switch and put on the headphones and place a bug in Trump's phone?

No. But the results were pretty much the same, weren't they? Yes they were. You can spin it around and tell me what a liar Trump is, but the general sense is that, yes, Obama did wiretap Trump. Not personally (as the President has lots of resources at his disposal and doesn't actually have to do a lot of things HIMSELF). Not via actual wiretap. But the results were the same.

I believe the poll question and the poll response choices are not well thought out or put together effectively, which will bring meaningless results - like most snap internet polls.

It's odd the mental gymnastics you folks are willing to go through to make some poorly thought through tweet "true"

The U.S. was routinely monitoring communications of the Russian ambassador. He spoke to Mike Flynn. Thus, "Obama wiretapped Trump".

I guess intelligence agencies are supposed to turn off the eavesdropping when Russian spies talk to anyone on Trump's team?

Back on topic. The lie will have to come from Comey, if such a memo exists, either way. Comey will not testify, in an open hearing, that he committed a crime, especially if Comey actually believed President Trump asked Comey to stop the investigation into Flynn.

Who ever leaked, this alleged memo, had to have done it without Comey's knowledge. I don't believe Comey is so stupid to implicate himself, as head of the FBI, in a crime.

I guess intelligence agencies are supposed to turn off the eavesdropping when Russian spies talk to anyone on Trump's team? There are rules in place when an American is involved in one of these eavesdroppings.

Apparently, like another person just posted, the President (in this case Obama) is above the law. And not only that, the name of the American was leaked!

Good luck when laws are selectively enforced. Seems to happen a lot when Democrats are involved...Hillary anyone?

And how any of this makes what Trump tweeted somehow true in your mind still eludes me.

The freaking White House isn't defending this but you guys are still figuring out ways that your boy was the victim of something other than his own stupidity.

He read a false news story and then tweeted it out. You keep saying there is more to it than that. Others state he is just rope a doping his opponents. But many months and many other self inflicted wounds later, it stands about where it stood the day it broke. Despite all the efforts of his supporters here to backfill.

Just like the "I won the popular vote except for millions of illegal votes" tweet. Except, no one bothers too much with that since even his most ardent supporters understand how utterly false a statement it was.

Eventually, I think even you will tire of his nonstop drama and admit that he's in WAY over his head.

"No administration has accomplished more in the first 90 days" 4/24
"All pipelines that are coming into this country from now on has to be American steel" 4/20
"The NSA and FBI tell Congress that Russia did not influence electoral process" 3/20
"The murder rate in our country is the highest it's been in 47 years" 2/8

All demonstrably false.

"How low has President Obama gone to tapp(sic) my phones during the very sacred election process. This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!" 3/4 (one of a storm of false tweets on this subject)

"In addition to winning the electoral college in a landslide(editorial note: his electoral college total was in the lower quartile), I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally" 11/27/16

Both ridiculous and abandoned by Trump shortly after making them.

Serious question.

Let's say I was raised in a multi-religion family (Catholic and Buddhist) and was versed in both by each parent.

Let's say I was going to get married, wanted to get married in the Catholic Church, and I know I have to be Catholic to actually do that.

The problem is my personal belief system and sympathies are much closer to the Buddhists than the Catholics.

When the priest asks me what religion I am what should I say?

I think if I want get married in his church I better tell him I am Catholic and start going to his church.

What religion am I really?

I'm a Buddhist that is very familiar with Catholicism and may even enjoy some of the ceremonies and sacraments.

Religiously speaking, if you were married in the Catholic Church under false pretenses (lying to the priest), how valid in the eyes of God OR Buddha would your marriage really be?

He is so wrapped up in the Clinton stench he'll never be rid of the stink.
