This exploits a Windows vulnerability that was known by the NSA and stockpiled.

It's a reminder of why some of us fully supported Apple's refusal to provide source code to the government after the San Bernardino terrorist attack.

Are Apple devices vulnerable to exploits? Of course. But at least you have a company that has proven they value their customers privacy enough to take a public relations hit after a tragic event when the government overreaches with the full backing of every chicken little.

Companies that give up source code have unlocked every customer device using that code.

The biggest threat to national security is the NSA.
They serve no purpose that benefit any citizens.

This underscores that opinion.

All data collected under President George W. Bush that did not meet "suspected terrorist activity" classification was destroyed per Bush directives signed every year. Obama's directives signed every year was to store all data. Those who are inclined know the freedom of information act and the internet contains everything requested.

You do not comprehend that NSA is for the security of the bureaucrats and their friends/lobbyists in Washington DC. It has nothing to do with the millions of typical Americans across the country.
