I'm in NorCal...the furthestest-most southern track I've been is THE BIG FRESNO FAIR.

One tip...when the horses go back to GGF---deduct 2 seconds off whatever time was reported.

The person in charge is supposed to call me. Sure it will be on TV but not sure which channel. Del Mar had another reality show for a couple years but I don't remember which channel. Probably the same.

Going to talk to him but don't want to be part of it on air. It has to be done the right way to get any traction. Previous shows like this only appealed to a vary narrow audience.

I do know a few people who would be great on TV.

And Jimmy is a super choice for Host.

It's going to be on TVG..."Horseplayers" was on Esquire...Took me 20 minutes each week to find the channel on Direct TV.

Spoke to Benny for about 20 minutes. Very nice guy who knows something about the sport and is gonna do his (their) best to attract new people to the sport.

May 27th auditions at Del Mar.

I guess I will update on this thread as I talk to him more and get more news about what's going on.

The term "Professional" they're using isn't in stone like they're gonna check you r tax return. Looking for competent handicappers who will make good TV and speak to a younger crowd.

They rejected the best person they could have had over something stupid. I like the guy running it cuz he has good intentions but I'm not sure he understands what it REALLY takes to attract gamblers to the sport.
