How do you think the track change effects the runners and shape of the race? As of now looks like a dry day 80 degrees for the Preakness.

I think it changes things tremendously. All the horses who finished in the money had high Tomlinson wet numbers. Horses like Gunnevera will have a much better chance this race.

The only horse with a high Tomlinson number that hit the board was Battle of Midway.

There were plenty with higher numbers than him that were no where at the finish.

Only half the field had ever raced on a wet track pre-Derby, so that has to be taken into consideration..

How can you be certain?

I recall a deluge for the Preakness just 3 years ago.
