I like McCraken, but not at 6-1. If the odds would be frozen as it is I'd play Tapwrit at 29-1

Ignore the early odds. They are the product of people betting without a tote board. They always shift a lot.

I've made worse bets. I think........:eek:

He finished 2L back of the probable 1st or 2nd choice in Arkansas.....so I think 30-1 or more is an overlay.

But it's Kent.....he might stop riding

It looks to me like there are several tempting possibilities in the 25-1 to 40-1 or so range. I won't be too surprised if the winner comes from that group.

Just curious are the exacta probables now (11:30 Eastern time) close to what they'll be come race time? :5: Always Dreaming the current fav has decent payoffs across except for a few horses. I would think they would be lower across the board but that may change as the race approaches.

:14: Classic Empire up to 8-1? That's starting to look almost reasonable. You reckon it will come back down? I didn't want any of the top three chalk, but at that price, I might just throw some money his way.

Jig is up on :17: Irish War Cry, now second choice, up from fourth on ML. Same with :10: Gunnevera—probably the most consequential drop in odds from the ML. I was on these two before the odds change, not sure I want much of them now.

Despite plenty of wise guy talk, :13: J Boys Echo above 50-1! I wasn't interested, but at that price...

I still like :16: and :11:, a bit cool on the board so far.
