Santa Anita cards the San Juan at 1 3/8 on turf for 3+ and 2 minutes later Keeneland cards the Elkhorn at 1 1/2 on turf for 4+. Total of 14 horses combined in the two races. Makes sense.
Also, not sure if Prat had his mind elsewhere during the San Juan. Chasing a hopeless 100-1 claimer early while keeping his horse as wide as possible around the turns. I bet the owners are happy they supplemented the money to enter him.
