Cost is $300 to participate. Kelly Von Hemel is trainer and will select the Club's horse. A one time expense with no bills ever. Thus maximum out of pocket is $300. No chance of profit but a lot of perks if you live near the track. IMO this is a better value than many of the Partnerships which also have little to no chance of profit but eat you alive with expenses as Partnership Manager keeps a loser going to keep his income flowing.

Each year since ~2010, they have started one up here at Hastings. For the most, very successful - they've had a couple of stakes winners over the years. One is racing in the opening day feature tomorrow - Square Dancer....

I would do this in a heart beat if I lived in that area, or any area that had a club like this.

Warrior's Club, the 3yo owned by the Churchill Downs version of this, is supposed to go next in the Pat Day Mile on Derby Day, so those folks have certainly got some special return on their investment.
