Oh that hurts.

What a wonderful man he was when I knew him.

Laurel in the mid 70's.

He had 1/2 the barn next door. Shared it with David Whiteley.

He would talk to me for hours on end when I was an asst. trainer on those lazy afternoons on the backside when the races were at Bowie or Pimlico. He offered advice, knowledge, perspective, support and most of all friendship. He did not have to do any of that. But for some reason , he did. And boy was I thankful.

So sorry to hear that.
