Thanks...I am testing a mechanical way of identifying races that might be more prone to popping some decent priced winners...this race didn't qualify...but I was bored and ran the race through my oddsline and saw the :6: came up as my 5/2 favorite on my line. Then I looked at the horse some more and said hey, why the hell not put some real money on it even though it doesn't qualify for the thread...sometimes we get lucky that we look at the right race at the right time.

Going back to my 16-1 winner in the Gulfstream 5th...how the hell does a horse like this end up going off at 16-1? I point to this race for all those who think it's harder and harder to find value these days.

Here's a horse who figures to get a pretty easy lead...the only other possible speed in the race is a horse who isn't a turf horse and may not even take to the grass.

Biancone, while not the trainer he used to be (snicker), is quite adept at keeping a horse together after a win...how does this horse go off the longest price in the field?

Horse is in form coming off a win, has a competent trainer, has a definite pace advantage going only a mile on the turf...unreal

Plus the trainer proved he knows how to win back to back with this horse, and the highest last race Speed Figure (according to Bris) in the last race.
