Hi All:

I'm clearing out my bookcase so I have 47 older horse racing books available. My first inclination is to just liquidate for pennies at my local bookstore since there isn't enough financial upside to hassle with it.

Dvlander, do you mind sharing with us why you're clearing out your bookcase? Did you perhaps find a major breakthrough thus not needing the books to re-read anymore, or are you giving up the game?

This is EXACTLY the sort of question that prevents me from selling my OWN horseracing books here. :)

I don't mind the question. I gave up horse racing quite a few years ago. Everyone knows it is a tough game and I just decided that despite how much fun it is to play, it's probably in my best financial interests to concentrate on other things.

Your library beats mine and I thought I had quit a few books. You have to agree though the chase was much fun. Hey, I even visited Pittsburgh Phil's mausoleum in Brighton Cemetery in suburban Pittsburgh, P A. Maybe I should have lite a candle as some other handicappers had done!!!!! I am still chasing, but just barely.
