Anderson Cooper asked Nancy Pelosi this stumper - he should of had an aide text questions before hand to her aides so they could write answers for her...

Pelosi's answer was obviously correct. That the right scoffs at two two-term Democratic Presidents being leaders of the Dem party today is just another in a long line of reasons why one of us is from Mars.

They don't even have a farm team.

The current pretenders to the DNC throne are Pelosi, Schumer, the Clintons, Sanders, and Lizzy Borden. Oops, I meant Lizzy Warren.

Their average age is post-senile. There are no bright kids on the national DNC stage right now, not even for the Dems, let alone someone that can appeal to independents.

Chelsea Clinton has been given a lifetime achievement award by Variety and Lifetime Network as part of their "Women in Power" program. Wow, talk about the Trophy Generation, where everyone gets an award for showing up. :pound:

Lifetime achievement? She managed to distance herself for the most part from Bubba's Bimbo Eruptions and Hillary's scandals, including Whitewater, Benghazi, and ServerGate. Women in power? She was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of Expedia for her expertise about web marketing and the travel industry.

And hard as it is to imagine, she has less charisma or political depth than her mother.

I sense you are on board with me regarding her potential....she is getting all the requisite grooming and her distancing tactics from her beloved parents has evidently worked well...this entire generation has been fostered along to rightly view women as equals...but somewhat troubling is that in the Universities, men are somewhat marginalized by the women....she will probably run for Senate first, but an end around run for the Presidency would not surprise me at all....the younger generation views the baby boomers are the source of all their and the world's problems and would support her en masse....

I sense that you missed the point.....she has no potential......she has no charisma.......she had no grass roots support...........she has demonstrated no understanding of, or even concern about, major issues..................

Her name is Clinton. End of story.

Until Trump came along, that's all the Democrats felt they needed. And unless someone else with brass balls follows him, that still might be all Chelsea Clinton will need. Don't need depth to be a democratic heavyweight. Just a very big profile.

This article suggests Chelsea lay low for awhile...

My guess would be Cory Booker...if not the leader now, then he will be come election season...unless I missed a major reason why he or the powers that be wouldn't want him to be the leader...

Maybe they should change their name to something more accurate like Socialist Revolutionary Party.

Dem heavyweights with depth obviously include Bill And Barack. You don't have to believe me.

That would be the Bill Clinton who let his little head over-ride the sanity of his big head, and brought disgrace and dishonor on the office of the presidency? (Republicans like Nixon have disgraced the office in different ways, but that is no excuse.)

That would be Barack Obama who campaigned for the ObamaCare bill without knowing what was in it? Who said you can keep your doctor, and maybe even believed it? The Obama who either believed or lied about the Benghazi attack being caused by a video?

It wouldn't help even if he really had ANY real party affiliation. Hell, he ran against his party..., and won.

A "Drain the Swamp" campaign doesn't exactly suggest any political affiliation, right?
