Well article stated 2013... with the anti oil EPA and hostile administration. I'm sure they pushed allot of paper work and paid for tons of impact data. So now that there is a America First... Energy Independent... Trump Administration willing to reset the EPA's spit bit and reign them in. Exxon can finally move forward on a 4 year old vision and create jobs . ;)

Biggest surprise is that the headline says "congratulates ExxonMobil" instead of "congratulates President Trump".:D

So the fact that Exxon didn't retract a 4 year old commitment is what this is about. Not that anyone thinks that was on the table.

No one ever said the guy didn't know how to sell himself.

I work in the oil industry. Things such as this, on all kinds of scales, are always in the works. Whether or not they are ever implemented is based on several factors. One of which is regulation and/or how things are being done in D.C. Had Hillary won this wouldn't have seen the light of day.
