Its amazing how night and day weekend racing is from weekday racing from a pure entertainment standpoint and value standpoint. Seems their is very little incentive generally speaking for longshot players to participate during the weekday IMHO...Way more prices on weeknight racing it seems and more exciting races as well...

I've cut my weekday play down. I'll play small just to stay sharp (how's that been working out?), and if i post a pick i should have some skin behind it. At least that's why I drop in an out lately

Since this racing today is boring me to tears...:(

I have a few rules I live by as a life long longshot player from what I have observed over the years...:coffee:

1) Don't bet during the week M-F at all, obviously not talking about posting :D, I mean actual betting. If you have to in order to get some action, post a lot :lol: or wait until the last 2 races of the day at each of the desired tracks, generally you will see chalk laden results all day long during the weekday cards but a bomb or two hits as the weekday card closes. By bomb not talking about 12-1 shots usually talking 20-1 and up...:ThmbUp:

2) If you must play during the week, play night tracks over the day tracks during the weekday but this only pertains to when Evangeline, Presque Isle, Remington or Delta is running. Tracks like Penn National, Chucktown, Mountaineer, Sam Houston and Turfway which used to be good but just doesn't have enough entries, all these other tracks are generally chalky. Percentages not in the LS players favor.

3) Fire most of your LS bullets Saturday and to a lesser extent Sunday...This is when their are bigger fields and more competitive races take place, low % jockeys and trainers way more assertive, horses more likely to change their form, the pace scenarios are way less predictable and honestly mostly chaotic in relation to their short fields 3/5 shots field over a barrel race after race weekday counterparts. On a side note, I prefer to take my LS shots later in the day on these cards 6th race and on...Around 3:30-4:00 and up.

4) Avoid all Monday Holiday cards like the plague...(MLK, Columbus, President's) their chalky as shit.:ThmbDown:
