No BM or GG Activity

It's a given that I'm always in the dark,but why is there no current racing activity at BM or GG?In past years seems like one or the other was always open.Is it the Magna people?

I could be wrong, but I think they close down for the fair circuits about this time?

I don't have the exact schedule, but they run at Sacramento, Fresno, Pleasanton, Solano, and Santa Rosa. Then they move to Bay Meadows for the "Bay Meadows Fair" meeting, before resuming the usual BM and GG schedule.

Sonoma State Univeriversity has horses in their Co fair- ownership shares bought at $1,000 total investment forever.

the university made a bundle off those horses, any here involved in charitable fund raising should read about it, it worked out real nice for them.

Santa Rosa's inner turf course will not be finished this year, the infield is still all torn up, next year it will be online. Will be kind of neat to be able to get some turf action at the fair, hopefully it will keep some horses around.

Santa Rosa 2 years ago or 3- was extremely fast first 2 days (all but 1 mule and horse wire to wire), then slowed way down the next (only 1 wired) and following days. Watch for changeable speeds,
