Have heard from usually reliable source that the Meadowlands announcer, Sam McKee suffered a serious stroke. I believe he is in his mid 50s.

I have had the good fortune to meet him and I am hoping for the best.

I've worked in Michigan racing for 40 years now. Sam is a class act, good man. Hoping the best for him and the family he's very close too. Very sad situation. Best wishes Sam!!!
