While that is his only option, he would still need a cell phone or tablet to mirror his email account onto the TV. If that’s the case, just look at your cell phone/tablet to check your emails, and save yourself some dough on the Chromecast stick.

I don’t know of any device that would give him what he is asking for, maybe someone else can chime in.

I was assuming using Chrome and some webmail account like gmail. Otherwise, right.
