As we begin the summer racing season at Del Mar and Saratoga, and with lots of maiden races instore, thought I would post some hopefully helpful information about trainers who are proficient with first-out offspring.
The below list is not necessarily the trainers with the highest win percentage...but the ones that for whatever reason....you get BANG FOR YOUR BUCK when you bet on their firsters.
Some of these stats are EYE POPPING !!!
Using a MINIMUM sample size of 36 starters from July, 2001 through this July, 2004, and 17% winners, the following have been the most productive VALUE trainers winning with first out offspring during this past three-year period nationally:
