Just beat me to this, loved watching the classic 70s show with my Mom growing up. Also fond memories of the dick van dyke show in reruns.

Did you ever think Mr. Grant would outlast Mary?

not on my life. Same for Dick Van Dyke. Asner is 87 and Van Dyke is 91.

... or for that matter, Betty White!!! Still going strong at 95.

I thought she was a very talented lady, and enjoyed watching her shows. I consider her among the likes of Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett.

Talented lady...but also very fortunate in her career. In both her landmark shows, she was surrounded by a cast of comedic geniuses...who carried the bulk of the load.

Many think that was her real talent. Recruiting and fostering the right people. Saw a show years ago where she said she was proud of making stars out of people

Lots of duds, but some pretty high quality shows are in the list.

Maybe bulk of the load in the DVD Show, but not in the MTM Show. The casts were excellent in both shows no question. I thought she was outstanding in Ordinary People. Going way off script for her. She seemed like a real class act. Made me laugh. MTM show is being replayed again. Great stuff. RIP.

She once was asked to throw out the first pitch at a Minnesota Twins game. Just like her comedic, dancing and acting talents she simply hit it out of the park ... and her pitch: right over the plate without a single bounce.

RIP, dear sweetheart.
