I know how to clear old adresses of the adress tool bar (clear history)
Can anyone tell me how, if it can be done, clear the history 'within' the adress bar? When I start an adress a load of them pop up beginning with that letter. There must be a gazillion by now since I haven't once cleared it. Would that slow things? Well, I would like to clear all that out. Any suggestions, thanks

Go to Google and search for a program called "crap cleaner." It is an extremely fast and very nice little program that is free and has the option of cleaning out what you are concerned with which I believe are "autocomplete entries."

In Internet Explorer go to:

tools>internet options>content

Click the "autocomplete" button. Then click "clear forms". That will clear it all out.

Figman I went to that sight and it seemed to clear way more than I wanted, so I didn't use that.
Sal, did your way and looks like it did the trick. Nice and clean up top.
