Trump compares nsa, cia, fbi, tactics to Nazi’s

Article from the internet

“A few hours after President-elect Donald Trump repeated his accusation that the American intelligence community was using tactics from “Nazi Germany” to undermine his legitimacy, leaders of the NSA, CIA, FBI, and Office of the Director of National Intelligence finalized meetings to brief both houses of Congress starting tomorrow on their findings about Russian interference in the presidential election.”

Here is part of another article I pulled down off of the internet

“When Hitler’s party won influence in Parliament, and even after he was made chancellor of Germany in 1933 – about a year and a half before seizing dictatorial power – many American press outlets judged that he would either be outplayed by more traditional politicians or that he would have to become more moderate. Sure, he had a following, but his followers were “impressionable voters” duped by “radical doctrines and quack remedies,” claimed The Washington Post. Now that Hitler actually had to operate within a government the “sober” politicians would “submerge” this movement, according to The New York Times and Christian Science Monitor. A “keen sense of dramatic instinct” was not enough. When it came to time to govern, his lack of “gravity” and “profundity of thought” would be exposed.”

It was also reported regarding Trump presidency , Pope Francis said "wait and see"..
Having been in construction in NY CITY for 60 years and worked on major building projects, including one of his, I'm very familiar with the building owner, construction manager mentality. What is good for getting buildings built may not be the same as building a country.

I will wait and see.

The most transparent presidency ever (0bamas) politicized many government departments through their appointed leadership. Once that swamp gets cleared (with their upper disciples), these departments will go back to running the way they should.

But Mr formula, you do need to provide a link for these articles you posted of, right? Could you provide those? That way we can see if it's a one sided, partisan piece or a non biased article

I'd almost agree. For some good, non biased interviews go to kera.org and listen to some archives from the program called Think.... It's our local npr station, I've listened to kris Boyd for a long, long time, still don't know if she's liberal or conservative. Her work doesn't lend to either side. Rare these days to see that

Due process, Look it up

Wiki:

The Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments to the United States Constitution each contain a Due Process Clause. Due process deals with the administration of justice and thus the Due Process Clause acts as a safeguard from arbitrary denial of life, liberty, or property by the Government outside the sanction of law.

So if I want to apply for a job with the federal government, but they say they are not hiring right now, that is a denial of my rights to life, liberty or property?

Well, I would say yes, because without the proof of the accusation (corruption). It would seem to me to be ARBITARY.

ARBITARY
1. Determined by chance, whim, or impulse, and not by necessity, reason, or principle

Its not Nazi, its 1984 like. Why? Because the majority thinks this sort of behavior "makes them safe". The people that speak against this or reveal this are branded "traitors" and suddenly disappear or run for their lives. Who knows when its all a big secret? That's the point, and if anyone reveals the "big secret" they are threatened as traitors. Then, the Govt. says there are "whistle blower" protections in place......yeah ok, what person with half a brain will gamble on that one?

You are joking right?

People really need to forget the "law" and learn some ethics or right from wrong.......or even better yet actually read the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. That would be a start. Of course it may be written into law, but its against the nature of our being. We can be like every other tin pan, piss pot dictatorship that we spend trillions on telling everyone we are saving them from that, for their own good , no less.

We are going to save ourselves and the world by being Big Brother, I'm sure that was the true intention of our country being........Says the "Law"......

"Sri Lanka (/sriː ˈlɑːŋkə, -ˈlćŋkə/ or Listeni/ʃriː-/;[6][7] Sinhalese: ශ්*රී ලංකා Śrī Laṃkā, Tamil: இலங்கை Ilaṅkai), officially the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon), is an island country in South Asia near south-east India. Sri Lanka has maritime borders with India to the northwest and the Maldives to the southwest.

Sri Lanka's documented history spans 3,000 years, with evidence of pre-historic human settlements dating back to at least 125,000 years.[8] Its geographic location and deep harbours made it of great strategic importance from the time of the ancient Silk Road[9] through to World War II.[10] Sri Lanka was known from the beginning of British colonial rule until 1972 as Ceylon (/sᵻˈlɒn, seɪ-, siː-/). Sri Lanka's recent history has been marred by a thirty-year civil war which decisively ended when the Sri Lankan military defeated the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) in 2009.[11]

A diverse and multicultural country, Sri Lanka is home to many religions, ethnic groups, and languages.[12] In addition to the majority Sinhalese, it is home to large groups of Sri Lankan and Indian Tamils, Moors, Burghers, Malays, Kaffirs and the aboriginal Vedda.[13] Sri Lanka has a rich Buddhist heritage, and the first known Buddhist writings of Sri Lanka, the Pāli Canon, date back to the Fourth Buddhist council in 29 BC.[14][15]

Sri Lanka is a republic and a unitary state governed by a semi-presidential system. The legislative capital, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, is a suburb of the commercial capital and largest city, Colombo."

Sri Lanka has had a long history of international engagement, as a founding member of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), and a member of the United Nations, the Commonwealth of Nations, the G77, and the Non-Aligned Movement. Along with the Maldives, Sri Lanka is one of the two countries in South Asia that are currently rated among high human development on the Human Development Index

If Mexico is unwilling to pay for the badly needed wall, then it would be better to cancel the upcoming meeting," Trump said on Twitter.
How is the trade deficit calculated? Is it based on the value of the finished goods that are shipped to the United States? How much of the trade deficit is due to oil imports?

Say Ford has a plant in Monterrey. When they ship the finished car to the U.S., does the value of the whole car count toward the deficit? And doesn't Ford here in the U.S. get all the profit once the car is sold? Doesn't Mexico only "make" whatever was spent on the labor to assemble the car or whichever parts are fabricated in Mexico? If the factories moved back to the U.S., wouldn't Ford make less on the car because of the increased labor cost unless they raised the price of the car?

What is it that Trump wants to change in NAFTA? United States exports to Mexico are now 3.5 times their 1993 level when adjusted for inflation. They have risen more than twice as fast as the overall economy. What concessions will the United States offer to Mexico to compensate Mexico for any concessions they make? Does anybody actually expect maquiladora plants to shut down an move to the U.S.?

Why is that a bad thing? It means that American citizens are choosing to buy stuff from Mexico because they feel that is in their best interests. It's called free choice.

In one of three executive actions Saturday, President Trump reshuffled*the National Security Council to include his chief strategist, Stephen Bannon, and limited the roles of the director of national intelligence and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
The memorandum makes the chief strategist a regular attendee of the principals committee,*the Cabinet-level interagency forum that deals with policy issues affecting national security. For Bannon,*the Washington outsider who ran the conservative website Breitbart News, it's another area of federal government in which he will have influence.
The Trump strategist is already considered a controversial choice for chief strategist because of Breitbart News's tendency to cater to white nationalists and previous comments he's made (i.e. "turn on the hate").
The memo also stated that the director of national intelligence and the chairman of the Join Chiefs of Staff will attend the principals committee meetings when issues related to their responsibilities are needed. Man, if Republicans had run around like little ninnies screaming the sky is falling with every breath Obama took (like you guys are doing with Trump), there would have been some bruhaha on this board about how we're all racists....wait a second...Republicans didn't complain half as much or half as intently as the LIMITED number of liberals still with the balls to post around here, and we were called racists left or right if we criticized even one little thing about Obama.

There is nothing to correct thus far...except for some of Obama's more ridiculous policies and EOs.

Ever look at your own tax returns? If you showed them to me, what exactly do you think I'd learn about you, except for how much money you've made?

There is nothing illegal on his tax returns...that much we know. Obama would have had the IRS put him on trial before the election if that were true.

So....what exactly do you think we'll learn? The he give more/less to charity than has been reported? That he has massive tax shelters in place? Oh my...what a shocker that would be...

We already know he took a huge loss and that has carried over multiple years such that he hasn't had to pay much in income taxes...but you or I would do the same exact thing if we were in his position...you'd be an irresponsible fool to both yourself and your business if you didn't.

So what exactly do you think will be the big reveal...we all know what goes on a tax return...do you think there will be some big, bright, Russian flag on his tax return, and right under that a picture of Putin with a heart and arrows drawn for good measure?

If Trump loaned money to anyone personally (not through an LLC, corporation, or partnership) the interest income would be itemized on Schedule B.

If Trump had personal loans (not loans to his business entities) they would only be disclosed on a personal tax return if they were loans on his personal residence. And by personal loans, I mean loans from an individual, not a business, bank, trust, corporation, etc.

In short, by releasing his personal returns very little would be learned about who he owes and who owes him. What it would do is create a firestorm for him to release all of his business tax returns.

As critics question President Donald Trump's Twitter habits, executive actions and press conferences, one Democratic lawmaker is proposing one potential solution.

Representative Ted Lieu of California says he plans to introduce a bill which would require a psychiatrist in the White House.

Lieu argues that in addition to having a regular physician, presidents should have access to mental health care -- given the strain of the job.

In an interview with the Huffington Post, Lieu said, "it is not normal for the President of the United States, within 24 hours, to write about death and destruction and fake news and evil. The most troubling aspect of this is it is very clear he has a disconnection from the truth."

“That makes me smart,” Mr. Trump said after Mrs. Clinton brought up how he had paid no taxes more than two decades ago. When she suggested that Mr. Trump was still paying no federal taxes, and had not done so for many years, Mr. Trump offered another retort: “It would be squandered, too, believe me.”
The above interchange gives me cause to ask the question,”why does the tax code favor those who are smart”
I can be very smart in my work and can be competitive.
But why must I suffer a disadvantage in my tax payments because I’m not as smart as Trump.
Tax payments should not be competitive; they should be fair, unbiased.
I need to be treated equally under the law.
Why am I required to bail out people who make unwise investments?
Why aren’t businesses subject to a stress test?

The Senate voted Wednesday to nullify part of a gun control bill that keeps severely mentally ill people from buying guns. It'll head now to President Donald Trump, who is likely to sign it.

The rule, which was issued by the Obama administration, required the Social Security Administration to report the names of an estimated 75,000 people who are considered too mentally ill or otherwise unable to manage their own disability benefits to the national background check system that gun stores (but often not private sellers nor gun shows) must consult before selling a gun to someone. It went into effect in January of this year, and but didn't require compliance until December.
I'm flabbergasted another " show and tell_ hold up your homework children" for our commander in chief. If they can buy a gun perhaps they can serve as hall monitors and alike.

Wrong. The change does not allow severely mentally ill people to buy guns. The part being nullified would require Social Security to report to the FBI the names of any disability recipients who have other people manage their benefits due to any mental disorder. What could possibly go wrong?

Under the part being nullified, SSA would not have to determine that anyone they reported was dangerous or even potentially dangerous, and the person would have the burden of proof to get off the list of people denied gun ownership.

The former commander in chief came in 12th on C-SPAN's 2017 Presidential Historians Survey. Obama scored particularly well in pursuing "equal justice for all."

SEE MORE: Former President Obama Is Living His Best Life Without Us

C-SPAN has conducted the survey twice before — in 2000 and in 2009. The results are based on feedback from nationally recognized historians and a list of presidential leadership qualities.

Those qualities include things like public persuasion, economic management and international relations. Each president is rated on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best.

This year, 91 historians took part in the poll.

The findings might not come as a surprise. When Obama left the White House, the U.S. was — for the most part — in better shape than when he got in."

He has always had something to say.....

"Former Labor Secretary Tom Perez was chosen to be the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee on Saturday, defeating Minnesota Congressman Keith Ellison.

Soon after, President Trump tweeted, "Congratulations to Thomas Perez, who has just been named Chairman of the DNC. I could not be happier for him, or for the Republican Party!"

Perez responded by writing, "Call me Tom. And don't get too happy. @keithellison and I, and Democrats united across the country, will be your worst nightmare.""

The Dems are forming up another circular firing squad, throwing around accusations of voter fraud in this election. :pound:

Apparently, Ellison was supported by the Bernie folks, so his loss is blamed on shady dealings by the establishment Dems supporting the usual crowd of elitists. As might be expected, Hillary best buddy Donna Brazille is up to her neck in it.

I love cheap drama.

Isn't this racist?

At the winter meeting to vote for the next leader of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) on Saturday, interim chair Donna Brazile expressed extreme concern about voter fraud and announced that voter ID would be required among voters, to “verify every name and signature.”

That's what America is about, a land of dreams and opportunity," Carson said. "There were other immigrants who came here in the bottom of slave ships, worked even longer, even harder for less. But they too had a dream that one day their sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, great-grandsons, great-granddaughters, might pursue prosperity and happiness in this land."carson has become a student of TRUMP SPEAK
