Sad that NYRA saw fit to dump the Racing Channel, but there no reason their web site shouldn't have a DVR feature enabled, so you can back up if you need to see or hear something again.

Gulfstream provides this very nicely here.

Their lag time so HUGE, you can miss it all and still not miss it.

I'm used to a 1-3 second lag time, since, I don't know, FOREVER....

30 seconds is a lifetime in horse racing. I can place 10 bets in 30 seconds. Or more.

Is betting that last second that much of a necessity? Aside from the random act up in the gate, if you are already set on what you want to play does betting at 1 second, 1 minute, 10 minutes or 1 hour before really matter?

Yes, 30 seconds is more than we like, but manageable, especially if you know it's there.

10 bets in 30 seconds? Manually? Really? 3 seconds per bet. Nice.
